Learn to paint luminous landscapes in this hands-on watercolor class while exploring essential materials, including rough-press watercolor paper, round and flat brushes, professional tube paints, pencils, and spray techniques. Discover how to create a strong first wash through value planning, wet-on-wet applications for skies and large shapes, and preserving glowing highlights.

Step by step, you’ll build depth and atmosphere using glazing, dry-brush textures, lifting techniques, and refined edge control to suggest distance, light, and form. Throughout the class, you’ll strengthen your understanding of composition, color mixing, and layering while creating finished, gallery-ready landscape paintings.

Paper: 100% Baohong cotton rough paper, 12×16 inch

Brushes: variety of round and square brushes.
