Description

In this course, you will develop a solid foundation in compositional drawing, with a particular focus on achieving harmony through color balance in still-life painting. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing light through the strategic use of background and shadow, while maintaining a luminous and vibrant overall effect.
You will be introduced to the à la prima technique, painting directly onto wet paper in a single, confident application. This expressive approach is central to the distinctive, radiant style of artist Natalia Outkina, and students will have the opportunity to explore and apply it under her guidance.

Colors: Yellow Lemon, Primary Yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Transparent Orange, Natural Ochre, Olive Green, Perylene Green, Neutral Tint, Rose Red, and Ultramarine Blue Deep

Paper: Baohong Cold Pressed, 100% cotton, 300g, in your preferred size.

Brushes: round natural hair brushes 0, 2, filbert angular, and Liner

Others: HB pencil, eraser, plastic or glass board to stretch wet paper, empty palette or white plate to mix paints, water container, and paper towels
