Guided step by step by Carol Miag, you’ll explore symbolism, gesture, and flow while creating a dynamic horse portrait. Learn when to stay loose, when to refine, and how to add selective detail for focus and depth, leaving with both a finished artwork and renewed creative freedom.

Colors: Gold Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Payne’s Grey, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Titanium White, Permanent Deep Yellow, and Ivory Black

Paper: Baohong Cold Press, 100% cotton, grain fin (recommended 300gsm)

Brushes: flat brush no. 30, round black bear brushes 1, 2, and 3, Escoda Ultimo round no. 12, Anastasia Kustova Moment brush
