Mr. Jiaying is a leading figure in contemporary Chinese art and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the China Artists Association. He is the Honorary Dean of the Chinese National Academy of Arts Meticulous Painting Institute and Honorary President of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Society, where he has played a significant role in advancing the tradition and innovation of meticulous painting.

He is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the China Academy of Art and has held numerous distinguished positions, including member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Dean of the Tianjin Art Academy, and Professor at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Beyond his academic and institutional leadership, Mr. He Jiaying is also recognized as a senior international expert in pigment testing.
